Cookie policy

Which cookies this site uses, what they do and how you can manage them.

This English text is a translation of our Italian cookie policy, here to help you read it. If the two versions differ, the Italian one is the binding text.

A cookie is a small text file that a site saves in the browser of the person visiting it. Here are the ones used by the YES Academy website: there are few of them, and if you are just reading the pages you get none at all.

If you are visiting the site

The pages of this site save no cookies in your browser: no profiling cookies, no advertising cookies, no statistics cookies. That is why you don’t see a cookie banner when you arrive.

Fonts, photos and videos come from the site itself, with no requests to other services.

If you manage the content

Only the people who log into the site’s admin panel, that is the school’s staff, receive technical cookies, which are needed to make it work:

  • payload-token: keeps you logged into the admin panel. It expires after 8 hours, or when you log out.
  • payload-theme and payload-lng: remember the appearance and the language chosen in the panel.
  • __prerender_bypass: is set only while the staff are previewing a draft, and is removed when they leave the preview.

External services

Some buttons take you to other people’s services, which have their own rules about cookies:

  • The map: on the Contact page the map loads only when you ask for it with the button. From that moment the map provider (Google Maps or OpenStreetMap) receives the request and may save its own cookies.
  • Booking and gift vouchers: these happen on Bee Bee Board, an external site with its own privacy notice.
  • WhatsApp: the button opens a chat on WhatsApp, outside this site.

Statistics

Today the site uses no statistics or advertising tools. If we switch them on in future, they will start only after you have consented, and this page will be updated.

How to manage cookies

From your browser settings you can see and delete cookies, and block them too: the pages of the site carry on working, the admin panel does not.
